If you're not ready to order, you can still find useful information in our searchable indexes. We include information such as file dates, docket and license numbers, volume and page numbers, etc, in all of our marriage license indexes, will book indexes, naturalization docket indexes, and obituary indexes..
Our indexes cover basic documents types including naturalization dockets, marraige licenses, will books and testators, and obituaries.
Marriage Licenses are easy to sift through. Each index lists the year the marriage license was applied for as well as the volume or book and page in which the marriage license application appears.
Our naturalization indexes list, as often as possible, the year in which declarations of intent and peitions for naturalizations were filed. the index also lists the docket and page numbers of each document.
The will indexes need to be searched with care. In some instances, a will is not filed until a year or more after a person dies. Our will book indexes list the year in which the will was filed. We have seen some wills filed as late as 20 years after the testator passed away. If you are seaching for the will of a person who died in 1899 and the will book index has a record for a person with the same name but a will filed in 1902 (as an example) please feel free to email us and we can look up some basic details in the will documents to determine if it is the same person.
